Milan Cortina Winter Olympics Celebration!
I am a big Olympics nerd and I could not be more excited that my two loves - Italy and all things Olympics (especially Winter, since I am a skier) - are combined this year! Since the Italian athletes will come from all over Italy, I have created a menu from all over Italy - South, Central and North. We’ll begin by making a Calabrian Onion Soup called Licurdia. Our main course will be hand rolled Pici shaped pasta from Tuscany in a meat sauce. And our dessert will be Smorn (or Kaiserschmarrn) from the Alps. This is a fully hands-on class. You will be cutting all the vegetables and literally making every part of this menu that is hearty enough to fuel an Olympic athlete! Come hungry!!
